spring weekend

yea, spring weekend, as in the last free weekend before finals.  Went to one of the biggest place of debauchery of campus. packed streets of drunk people and trees of beers cans ( trashing) and beer cans on the ground as if the earth sprouted trash. yea, despite all that, me and my friends just walked in circles hoping to see something exciting.

But the main event was saturday, Dashboard conffessional and Reel big fish.  they were good. Reel big Fish had a great fun show. althu i'm not into their genre (Ska music?), It was a really fun show. they know how to perform. Dashboard Confessional was only the main guy and another person, where they switch off guitar to keyboard.  From what i understand, they decided to make it acoustic like, coz that's how they started. Chris Carbara ( spelling?) was awesome. apparently, he came from West Hartford Ct. i dont' know how true that is. oh boy, can he sing High. did all the songs on myspace, and even did a cover of Teenage Dirtbag (american pie soundtrack). vindicated, infidelity, etc. Someone threw a bra to him, which he hung it on the mic stand. haha, apparently he shaved his head.  He sang hands down as a finale.

ok, the sun is up. but i have to study. sigh*

Asian night

asian night was a type of talent show. it was really fun. in this performance, i'm done one doing the airchair ( can't really see) and doing the footwork solo...and synchronize hand hop  (later on).

school is okay so far. i'm not feeling as busy as i use to. in the sense that i dont' study like a crazy nut. not yet anyways. I still have the Mcat the worry about. so far i can only dedicate my saturday to it. which i don't know if that's enough time. first small group occured yersterday. we lost our second game of intramural basketball as well. tough lost, w/ lots of attitude. one of the players of the other deep had a open wound above his eye brow. the game had to be stopped for 20 mins or so to get him out.

Asian night practices are going well. i may get a small footwork solo part to Twista. alright, that's my xanga update.  

There's something about french rap.

lots of interresting stuff. hung out w/ my future roomate Clinton and a bunch of ladies. we went ice skating! fun stuff, even thu my foot hurt so bad. and before that, we were surfing youtube for some french music, and i fell upon some goooood stuff. check out the vids below. also, today at noon, I played my first intramural basketball game ( organized by school). we had blue jerseys and everything. even thu we didnt' have everyone that signed up show up, it was still very fun. even thu we lost, it was still very fun. just so you guys know, i did score a couple shots ( including a foul shot). better luck next time!
